Via Fox, momentum unexpectedly builds for the western part of Maryland to split from the eastern, due to unbridgeable cultural differences. The westerners can't stand the liberal easterners, and don't want to have them make the laws they have to live by. According to the article, the movement started small but built suddenly and unexpectedly.
Same for areas of Northern California, Colorado and the upper peninsula of Michigan.
How long until this impulse morphs into entire states or regions setting in motion a movement to secede and form their own nation states based more closely on the original constitution? As Obama and his progressive allies advance in their plan to truly change the very nature of our country, it will become intolerable for law abiding, freedom loving people to stay in what used to be the United States.
As we watch the drive to normalize perversion, destroy the traditional family, harass Christianity and those who want to practice their beliefs in peace, it will become clear that many simply cannot continue in the progressive United States without becoming pariahs.
Here in California, the front page of the local newspaper touted Governor Moonbeam's signature on a bill that allows illegal aliens to get driver's licenses, and the legislature spent it's time voting to name a local bridge after Willie Brown. Meanwhile, further down the page, it was reported that local junior colleges have a backlog of 65,000 students who can't get the classes they want. My wife and I just shook our heads in disbelief, wondering if the editors of the local rag realized the irony of what they had printed. Our pols were spending their time doing either harmful things or meaningless gestures, while "Rome" was burning.
Talk about the politicians having misplaced priorities! Apparently they really don't care about the same things that regular folks do.
Further, once politicians devalue citizenship by allowing illegals to vote, to drive, and here, even act as election monitors and serve as jurors, why should anyone value their status as a Californian?
Why not choose to reorganize into a new nation-state that does provide the benefits of citizenship? That doesn't take inordinate amounts of the people's hard earned money in taxes and fees? That doesn't stifle growth through oppressive regulation of politically disfavored industries? That doesn't pervert the institutions of government to punish those they disagree with politically, and favor those they do agree with?
I think a serious movement to reorganize the current United States into two or more new nations, one based on the "red" political philosophy, and the other the "blue" is more likely than is currently thought. These local movements to split up states are a harbinger of this radical change in our political organization.
The nation is already divided evenly, and the current administration is doing everything it can to insult and destroy the folks who believe in traditional values and the sanctity of the constitution. Obama has three and a half more years to serve, and he will use that time to aggressively attack everything we normal people would hold to be valuable.
How much more will we tolerate?
From the looks of it not much more.A tiny spark somewhere is going to start a huge fire.
ReplyDeleteFor sure. Such a thing isn't consistent with the "narrative" of the media, but it really is boiling away, and the temperature is rising.
DeleteThere is a lot more red turf in America than blue turf.
ReplyDeleteTurf, but not population, that's the problem.
