And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My dad was an armaments chief on B-25's in the South Pacific. He told me many stories about this war machine and how devastating its firepower was. The J model carried eight forward firing .50 cals and a .75mm cannon. I must have built about 20 models of the B-25 when I was a kid. Great memories of my dad.
This would be a great consolation prize to the P-51D that I'd like to own and fly. In fact, my own B-25 would dry those tears right up.
