And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? A little gun porn for a Thursday, featuring a Ruger Old Army and stag grips by Sack Peterson.
I own one of those in blue and it's a fine piece. Ruger no longer makes them but they're not hard to find, they were made for 36 years. I'd love to buy a cartridge conversion (Kirst or R&D) and shoot .45 LC or .45 ACP.

ReplyDeleteGive Ruger some credit for making a cool but very offbeat gun like this for that long. I wonder how many they sold over all those years?
