According to this article, traditional, back to basics Catholicism is growing.
Nearly 250 new priests were ordained last year, and a Boston seminary had to turn away applicants.
Just goes to show, I think, that down to earth faith and morality, of whatever brand, wins hearts and minds every time. I'm sure similar statistics exist for Protestant pentecostal churches, although I have my doubts on the liberal, PC, brands.
Even the Anglican church, all but dead in it's home country of England due to the stupidity of it's leaders there, is thriving mightily in the third world.
As in all things, it is clear what works, and it is clear what doesn't.
