Lee Vining, California, this morning

That's a significant snowfall for the first week of May on the east side of the Sierra.  Just behind the camera is the front wall of the mountains, and here we are looking north east.  You can see a bit of Mono Lake in the background.

  2. It's on the wrong side of the mountains ...and too far south (IMHO).

  3. Wonder if that's a color shot. Lots of shades of gray there.

    1. Yep, color. You can see some green in the trees and yellow in the gas station logo.
