While messing with some old fall photos, I came up with these aspen shots up at Hope Valley.


Suzanne took this unconventional shot, and I like it the more I look at it.  Not your everyday perspective.


Here are two of the three kids trying to enjoy the cold morning air down by the Carson River.


The reflection on the water of the fall colors.  Nice.


The Carson River at the point it tumbles out of Hope Valley is at this time of the year not much more than a big creek.  Still, there are some nice trout that lurk in those pools and eddys.


Meanwhile, dad can slowly sip down a fine cup of black brew on a nippy mountain morning.  Good times!
