President Kennedy, Democrat, did this exact same thing, and got the same result on a national scale.

Wages are also growing in Kansas. Before the tax cut, workers on KC's Kansas side earned 40 cents an hour more than Missouri workers. Now the gap is $3.
Meanwhile, in the tax hell of California, local sales taxes in several towns and counties have popped above 10 percent. Couple that with extremely high state income and gas taxes, and other fees such as car registration, and the drag on the economy will grow. Here, your money is the state's first, and whatever they feel inclined to leave to you is what you have to live on. Now, in some unfortunate locations, 10 percent of that meager remainder is now snatched away by our rulers to waste or give away to whatever favored constituency they want.

The tax cut is working. Labor Department data show job growth in Kansas tied with Utah as the fastest in the nation in February.
Back in 2012, Brownback cut the highest income-tax rate from 6.4% to 4.8% with the goal of eventually eliminating the state income tax entirely. The tax on small business income was zeroed out. It was denounced as "trickle-down economics," though the state's unemployment rate is now down to 4.5%.
"The number one complaint I'm hearing now," Brownback tells us, "is we can't find the workers. That's a good problem to have."
Where the jobs are really showing up is on the Kansas side of Kansas City. Because tax rates are lower in Kansas than in Missouri, the Kansas side of the metro area produced twice as many jobs as the Missouri side from 2012 to 2014.

Iran has resupplied the Syrian air force with ten Iraqi Su-22 ground attack jets.
The Syrian Air Force (SAF) has, since the current civil war began in 2011 relied heavily on Russia and Iran to keep its aircraft flying and to replace combat losses. For example Iran upgraded several SAF Mi-17 helicopters with armor plates and FLIR cameras as well as basing Mojaher 4, Yasir and Shahed 129 UAVs in Syria and even providing an Il-76TD transport aircraft for the SAF to bring equipment in from Russia and Iran.
Now, Iran has also provided the SAF with ten refurbished Su-22 ground attack aircraft.
These aircraft are from the 40 Iraqi Air Force Su-22s flown to Iran during the 1991 war (don't try to figure out that logic! ). They were sent to Iran “for safekeeping” but Iran considered them war reparations and quite naturally kept them. Due to embargoes and money shortages Iran was unable to refurbish these Su-22s until recently. In 1913, Iran consulted a Ukrainian firm about how long and how much it would cost to overhaul the Su-22s. It was too expensive and Iran decided to restore ten Su-22 to operational condition without any foreign help by using other Su-22s and Su-20s as a source for spare parts.
At the end of the 2014 Iran ordered the ten Su-22s to be partially disassembled and flown in Il-76s to Syria, in order to assist the Syrians in their war against their own rebels. The first of these newly delivered Su-22s were viewed while bombing the town of Talbeesa, Homs Governorate, on the 9th of March 2015.
