  1. Nice, reminds me of a Bed and Breakfast my family enjoyed in South Carolina some years ago.

    1. Yes! Flemish Bond brickwork, slate & cedar shingle roofing, pea gravel...very Lowcountry. But missing a pineapple statuette that indicates hospitality.

  2. Lots of perfectly-executed detail in that entry.

  3. My homeowners insurance would make me put up a handrail and ruin the whole look.

  4. Building code would not require handrail. The bluestone floor/steps always look good.

  5. Needs frosted class for privacy. Allowing creeps to watch you thru doors and windows without coverage is simply stupid.

    1. We've had glass front doors for more than 30 years and never once has a creep looked through them. Maybe it's the company you keep?

If there was a creep at the front door I'd be able to see it clearly through the ghost sight on the 12 ga.

  6. People who live in a house with windows they can’t see out of does not sound any smarter

  7. Watching from a distance learn your routine perhaps.
