And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Once upon a time I was out at Avon Park Bombing Range working on something else entirely while F-16's were doing live fire low altitude strafing runs from that gun you see on Pilot left/Viewer right. I can say without fear or favor that it is impressive to watch. Always remember: "Short Bursts".
F-16 ADF / National Guard version. Bird shredder (antennas actually) in front of the canopy. Pilots needed to keep their elbows in when ejecting unless they want the rails to nip them off.
Nice Callsign for the Pilot. No need to worry about the elbows when ejecting. It's more like an airplane you sit "on" rather than "in". The rails are plenty wide, and both the throttle and side stick are well inboard. plus there's a swing out elbow rest on the right side that's well inside the rail. Also, ejection handle is a center pull, so elbows are in anyway.
Is the name on the left that of the crew chief?
ReplyDeleteCorrectamundo!
DeleteNice that he gets some credit like that. That's a muy importante job.
