The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? DeleteI'd certainly clear out that rock dam, so the flowing water had less of a chance to back up and flood.
ReplyDeleteRocks form a deeper spot that the trout rest in. And the guy setting on the porch can toss a line at.

And rocks form a barrier that the water backs up and a flood goes into the house.
