And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Mt. Shasta Snow Report

Green Butte Ridge near treelike
Snow depth at 7800 feet measured at 59 inches, 19 new since Christmas afternoon.
CW, I get the sense that Shasta is seeing a more snow this year? I follow Shasta a bit in the geological sense, given that it has a lot of volcanic potential. Steve_in_Ottawa
Before the last few days, lots of warm rain but only snow up real high ( Shasta is just over 14k feet tall). The last few days has resulted in a lot of new snow as the storms are colder, and a decent pack has now built up. Very good for spring runoff and lake filling.
