And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A lot like my old Dodge Custom 880s (had a 63 and a 64). Looks like they made the pushbutton transmission buttons on the Imperial vertical instead of horizontal. Some of my friends had a hard time figuring out how I was shifting when I backed down their driveway as I just put my hand on the dash which basically covered all the buttons while I pushed them with my thumb. One had the base 360 while the 64 had the 383, which made the house rumble when I pulled up.

ReplyDeleteWe didn't know how good we had it
ReplyDeleteImperials were always top of the line.
ReplyDeleteThe vertical buttons on the left control the transmission, correct? But what do the vertical buttons on the right side do?
ReplyDeleteBack in the day, we'd jokingly call this sort of land cruiser, a "Jew Canoe."
