Exciting times in SoCal

  1. Or panic inducing. I haven't been to SoCal in 40 years but last January my childhood home burned down, along with 16,000 others. Arson, as it turns out.

    Nothing to make light of.

    2. Deputy Chief Kristine Larson, head of the Department's Equity and Human Resources Bureau. 2023 total compensation $307,000 before benefits.

LAFD's three top people at the time of January's fires were all female. How's that for diversity?

    3. If all three had been men would the fire not have started?
I fail to understand your logic

    4. My logic is that all three of these women were placed in their positions of power strictly because of their demographics, not because they were qualified to hold the positions into which they were placed.

Would my logic make more sense if I mentioned that all three of these women are lesbians? Because they are.

    1. Actually, California is one our countries most beautiful states. It just needs a complete political overhaul.

    2. Imagine seeing your country burn and celebrating the fire. What kind of person would do that? Would you call that person a patriot?

    3. Comment of someone who’s never been to California, best state in the country. I know people like this, people who live where things are ugly and minds are small.

  6. You might want to delete that first "c". Also, why do we focus on the gender of the firefighters and not the gender and political affiliation of the arsonist(s) who started those? Might want to follow the money...
