And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Put a bunch of NOS bulbs on Buy Nothing -- couldn't even give them away. Maybe because the original price stickers said 89 cents for 4? Merry Christmas everyone!
Back in the 1950s I remember my father swearing while hunting for, the one bad bulb in a string of 20 when they were in wired a series circuit configuration.
My mom kept one in her purse. One day on vacation my aunt and uncle had a night light fixture, with a dead bulb. My mom rummaged in her purse an came up with a bulb… and there was much rejoicing.
What a bright idea!!!
