And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Had a Sony Laserdisc player sometime around 89-92 or so. Dunno if that is synonymous with "Videodisc" or not. It worked sometimes, but mostly didn't. Ended up tossing out the player, but still have a couple dozen laserdiscs gathering dust.
I remember a guy I worked with bought one back around 1979, but its fame was short lived. They were destroyed by the VHS tape players

The disc was the size of a record and it didn't work well. But the idea eventually birthed the DVD.
