And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Had a 64 CJ, F head 4 banger, truly a rugged little bugger, the one vehicle out of all should have never let go, seriously. They must have used an outstanding alloy steel on them, not one spot of cancer, anywhere. Came with a 5 foot manual angle plow. Rebuilt the F head, cost total with expert machining, pistons, recon crank, oem replacement cam, all the sundry bits, $335 bucks, 1984 ish. The factory piston/cyl clearance was .003 to .0035 inch, very tight fitup, the machinist mentioned not to open it up with a hone, that the thing would bed in and run very good if it was babied for at least 500 miles, went 800, the dude was right. You can floorboard that F head, like a diesel, revs to max and stops, rpm's below grenade range. They built good stuff back then, maybe carry over specs from all the war vehicles Jeep produced(?).
