And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
There's a guy on YouTube that fires into different objects to see what bullets will go thru with different calibers. Some surprising results. He shot at pumpkins and the Desert Eagle was better than the ar15 and 50 cal rifles because their bullets veered off after a few pumpkins. Even the lowly 22 went thru 4 equaling some other rounds.

ReplyDeleteRound nose bullets v pointed. It’s why the 30-30 is excellent in brushy areas, not so much for a .308 or ‘06.

ReplyDeleteballistics gelatin smells like decomposing flesh. I worked around it in New Mexico. mix cinnamon into the gel to mask but not eliminate the stench.
