Below is the Yukon delta, appearing like a swarm of blood vessels. The delta is protected as a wildlife refuge, and is one of the largest delta fans on the planet.
Below are huge sand dunes marching across the empty quarter in Saudi Arabia. A prominent ridge in the center divides the ranks of sand like a scimitar, and is the location of the small, isolated border town of Sharurah. I especially like the lonely clouds floating above the sands, which from below must seem like a cruel whisper reminding one of the cool liquid sea so far away.
