Non veni pacem mittere, sed gladium.
She is bringing your your morning coffee, CW, saying..."Is this ALL that you want?"
No, I take my coffee with cream.
And I'm sure that you'd toss her for that criteria...you'd kick if you were hung with a new rope.
I'd kick if I were hung with a new rope? Ok, I think you just introduced me to a new pithy saying.
Ok, on another but related topic, what do you think of Isolde, the Pagan Queen that Utrich brought back from his raid into Cornwall? (played by Charlie Murphy)??
Smokin' hot! I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the coal black eyes. Maybe it's the sorcery, or maybe it's cause she's gotta stay "pure" to keep her powers of divination. So, maybe it's that you always want what you can't have.Anyway, it entertains me that she's Uhtred's third woman on in the series, and he took her home with him to meet his red headed wife. That's when I knew Mildreth's hair color had to come from a jar. A real ginger would have killed them both right there for such effrontery.
