Romney and the Republicans are running a well organized and efficient  ground game in this election.

A Boston Globe analysis has found that while the Democrats have registered 39,580 voters, the 'Pubs have created 145,085 new voters.

Let's dub this aggressive, hard charging  game the "Butkus," after legendary linebacker Dick Butkus, shall we?

Dick Butkus, in all his glory.  A fitting metaphor for the job the Romney campaign is doing to the Democrats.

So not only are the 'Pubs slamming the Democratic effort to the ground with extreme prejudice, there is also the related effect of deregistration, where voters drop or change their official party registration.

Here, the 'Pubs have lost 80,000, while the Dems have lost 800,000!!  Most of those likely went to the independents.  That, Paul Ryan would tell you, is a ten to one ratio against the donkey party.

Couple this fall of in Dem registration with the concussion producing effect of the Butkus ground attack, and the Dems have a big, big problem.

Do I smell landslide?   Yes I do smell landslide.
