Saturday night does not look like this where I live.

My kids agree that this is the best of the "goats yelling over popular songs" videos that for some reason have become all the rage.  Hopefully this silliness won't last as long as those "Hitler finds out" videos.

Saturday morning laugh.

A bit of common sense from Sequestrageddon.

"Can you pierce the mists of time and go back all the way to the year 2007? Back then, federal spending was 40 percent lower than it is today. In a mere half-decade, has all that 40 percent gravy become so indispensable to the general welfare that not even a teensy-weensy sliver of it can be cut?

If you really believe that, then America is going to die, and a gullible citizenry willing to give this laughable charade the time of day will bear ultimate responsibility."

I agree that the ignorant, low information electorate is the problem here.  It hits me square between the eyes every time there is an election here in my home state of California, and the fools we have for voters elect like minded fools as representatives, and idiotic laws which lead direct to financial destruction.  The right to vote is far to broad spread for the Republic to survive.

Friday open road

Pat Caddell:  Obama is the closest thing to Nixon that we have had in 40 years.

It isn't Nixon I'm thinking of, Pat.   It's more like a lazy, narcissistic, golf playing Hugo Chavez.

Borepatch was talking with a Glock employee, and it seems that that company has a 1.2 million order backlog, and has all three of it's factories running full speed.

Thanks Obama, you and your Democrats are the best gun salesmen there has ever been.
Big Mama takin' no chit from nobody!

Nice catch there at the end.  Maybe we could set up a cage match between this chick and robot dog, below, and see who comes out on top.   My money would be on Big Mama, cause she swingin' tables and catchin' chairs barehanded.

On Reddit, a poster there put up this note that his sister, a teacher, got from one of the students after a difficult day in class.

Wow.  That's a saver.

Sometimes do you ever come to Friday, look back on your week, and feel like it's been like this since 8:00 am on Monday?

I for one welcome our new robot overlords.

Boston Dynamics robot dog can now throw cinder blocks at us.  Great.
