Bought a old 5 acre farm, been empty about 11 years, didn't know the last owner put a pest buzzer up under the sink in the outlet the dish washing machine plugged into, turned in the power, went to work that night, my girl friend called that a black bear was ripping the wall away, ran home looked like a madman with a dull chainsaw had hacked thru the kitchen outside wall. Called fish and game, they put a bear trap with a net bag full of ground beef hangingat the back, wasn't a few hours after dark GF calls the bear in trapped, larget black bear i seen, it was pretty mad being in that trap tell you what.

  6. Wouldn't wanna be anywhere near that with less than an AR 10 (or FAL, M-14, H&K G-3, etc).

  9. That close with a .44 Mag, he's still probably gonna get you. Double in .600 Nitro may stop him. If he was really that close, I'd bank on
    a giant can of bear spray, full discharge.
