that is a good question, these are way too complicated. Knobs are master tone and master volume, 3 grouped switches are front pickup on/off, back pickup on/off, other one is a mid-tone cut. The top two horizontal ones are wheels to control the rhythm tone and volume, the vertical switch changes between the lead and rhythm circuit - there are separate circuits for each. I think Leo (or George?) was smoking something when they came up with all of this.
I know (or I can guess) what the two knobs are for. But what are all the switches for?
