I wonder if those eyeballs are frozen solid like a marble.

  4. Gators can (and do) survive being completely frozen. They have, after all, survived for millions of years in areas that regularly freeze. They go into a state of torpor and wait until the water thaws out. I still wouldn't stick my hand in a gator's frozen mouth, though. 🐊
