    1. No. An entirely different aircraft. The "PBY" is the Navy designator, just as "JRF" is for the Goose. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consolidated_PBY_Catalina

  7. Used to have commercial scheduled service between Fajardo PR, St Thomas USVI and other points. Flew in the co-pilot seat, as a passenger, several times.

    They weighed all passeners and assigned seats based on weight. It could carry about 10 as I recall.
