And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Which brings me to the subject of dying. Animals have no concept of what dying is and therefore don't spend any time worrying about it. Only humans are cursed with obsessing over that inevitable outcome.
Just like the antelope, I don't care about dying per se: it's inevitable, however just like the antelope I'm in no particular hurry and will avoid it if I can.
A perfect analogy : the American people are the antelope and the Uniparty is the gator. Notice how the Uniparty slinks back into the water to wait for the next opportunity to strike. It is only a matter of time.

ReplyDeleteI wish I thought you were wrong. But I know you are not.
DeleteThe perfect solution: The antelope has a 12ga 10 shot automatic shotgun mounted on it's head with a proximity sensor.
DeleteHow about a fricken laser beam.
DeleteI wonder how the photographer got the shot? It’s an awesome one perfectly timed.
