    1. The bullet hole in the sign must be a thing here in Nevada. I just moved to Mesquite, NV from Central Coast Cali and the "State of Nevada" sign here is so obliterated with dents and holes the words are barely readable.

  3. Can’t image riding the twisties with that car tire in the rear. No chicken strips there, no place for them

  4. That had to be a photo-op. No dust on her, her boots, or the scoot.

  5. That Scoot (if still in one piece) is worth 6 figures $$$$

  6. Yep. I'd sure like to know where that picture was taken.

  7. My old lady just loves her bitch pad on our knuckle, especially when I keep the rpms right at a certain point.

  8. Interstate 80, Hwy 50? I grew up in Socal and can't remember what a lot of it used to look like. It's a different world.

    1. I have a hard time picturing any of the passes into Nevada still being in the mountains when you hit the state line. The only possible exception possibly being Spooner Summit between South Lake Tahoe and Carson City. So that's about all I could come up with.

    2. Could be north of Reno - on 395 perhaps? Guessing. Don't know

    3. Naw - I take it back. Doubtful that's 395 above Reno

    4. US 395 crosses the state line out of Nevada just south of Hallelujah Junction, where Highway 70 takes off to the west towards Portola and Quincy. It's all dead flat and sage from north of Reno and US 395 never crosses back into Nevada, then eventually enters into Oregon from Modoc County.

So you're right, that photo wasn't taken anywhere north of Reno.
