  3. Except its from a nearly current war, could have been a colorized photo of the French Artillery in Den Bin Pu.

    And lack of control of the high ground around their camp cost them the battle, most of their lives and loss of Vietnam to the N Vietnamese.

  5. I'll just note that it was Democrats who denied the South Vietnamese ammunition when the tanks rolled across the DMZ. Anyone who considers us a reliable ally needs to pay attention. They have your back, and are looking for the place to stick the knife when the going gets tough.

  7. I was a machinist doing prototype and R&E weaponry for the Army, moved on to research facility performing failure analysis. You can put 3 M-777s in a C-130, where only one of its predecessors fit.
