  1. I bought one years ago.
Less than a hundred bucks, and made of much thicker metal.
Wish I'd kept it, but I figured they'd never change a good thing.
    Shows how much I know...

  2. I have a charcoal smoker. Bought an electric smoker but it didn't do very well cooking foods when temps dropped below freezing. Got a propane smoker and it's been awesome.

  3. While you can make some wonderful BBQ and smoked meats on one, the main selling feature is low price and compact size. Used one for years. Biggest problem is under-estimating the amount of charcoal / wood chips necessary and having to disassemble the entire thing mid-smoke to add more. Having a charcoal chimney to get things going is essential. Certainly works well enough if you don't have room or budget for something bigger.

  4. Eh. Guess it’s better than a sissy pellet smoker
