And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Bass Opera Singer VOCAL ANALYSIS - this guy does the best serious analysis. Clearly there are multiple levels of skill and technique that are way over the heads of most of us, but quite interesting to hear about nonetheless.
Those three examinations were great journeys through a world I am happy to visit as a listener, but completely incapable of participating. Very interesting work by all involved.
He likes to keep saying, "as a professional opera singer," but he lost me when he said, phonetically, "pay hommage" as opposed to "pay omage ." I know nobody give's a rat's ass, which is fine.
