  1. Okay, have not been in bars for a while, never one quite like this. Any guesses on how to get the "top shelf" bottles down safely and then back up? Impressive looking bar!

    1. Oban or Laphroaig. They are both very peaty and should be served neat, no ice or water needed. Back in my younger days I served in the 10th SFG(A) and we trained at the SAS base at Cultybraggan in the heart of Scotch Distillery country. It had been nearly 40 years and I still have a couple of bottles put away. One was signed by my ODA and is kept as a Tontine, to be opened when only one of us remains.
