    1. All of them have tube magazines except for the top one that has some sort of box magazine.

  6. A collection is guns of varying calibres. If you have fifty guns and need fifty different kinds of ammunition, it is a collection. An arsenal is a bunch of the same guns with the same calibre.
    Pictured is a beautiful collection.

    1. To get really pedantic, its an armory not an arsenal. An arsenal is the manufacturer of weapons, an armory is the storage of them.

  8. My pop left me his original Model 1982 in 38-40, not a spec of factory blue left on it used so well and long, bbl was shot out pretty good. What to do? Started checking things, really handy carbine, got a bbl blank from Douglas Barrel in .44 mag, which shares case rim sizes with 38-40, got the original barrel off, it was really on there, duplicated the factory threading and tenon, cut the chamber with a boring bar using the .44 mag SAMMI b/p, got the headspace right at .003, 11 degree muzzle crown, shoots like a dream, only rifle I use for deer hunting, in memory to my grandpop. Added a receiver mounted rear peep sight. Thinking the Steve McQueen style lever loop, better fit my big mitt.
