  2. Went to Oregon coast last summer. Hosts took us to this factory store and the Tillamook Cheese Factory, two good reasons to visit Oregon. In two days we did not detect anyone from Portland. Put new batteries in Freak-O-Meter, still didn't detect any Portlanders.

  3. Never had any luck with these off brands. Taste is often delicious, but the quality (of the meat) just isn't there.

    [ . . . hate gristle, . . . will not finish eating it, etc.]. Let me know if it's any good.

  4. I prefer good hard tack jerky; the kind you don't have to refrigerate after opening.
