And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

1961 Caddy. You can tell it's not a '62 because the taillights aren't square and the fins are a tiny bit larger.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Sedan De Ville hard top, '61 was the only year Cadillac had horizontal taillights. That incredibly wide rear window didn't last.

Indeed. My dad had a '62 Sedan De Ville that I helped drive from Oregon to Florida in 1969. It was metallic blue.
