Extraordinary Entrance

  1. This image shows the interior of the Antwerpen-Centraal railway station in Belgium.

    Commonly nicknamed the "Railway Cathedral," this monumental station was built between 1895 and 1905.

    It was designed by architect Louis Delacenserie and features a massive iron-and-glass train shed.
    The interior is richly decorated with over 20 types of marble.

    It is often voted as one of the most beautiful train stations in the world.
