And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Just saw a vid of a famous long time climber who lost his grip and fell on a practice climb. Broke both wrists trying to grab something and broke both ankles when he landed. Cause of death was hitting his head on a pointed rock. 51 I think.
Humans are losing the survival gene. Too many people are now surviving that previously would have died as a result of no survival gene (think being saved by airbags etc after having done something stupid in a car). It isn’t good news. Humans are naturally afraid of heights, snakes, spiders, etc for a reason.
