Rusted Out, But Not Too Far Gone?

  2. If attempted, it will become a modern "ship of Theseus" on 2 wheels. Seriously, older bikes (1970's apparently) are still common enough that the above isn't worth the effort.

    1. I've never seen a tank rusted like that, almost completely gone. Maybe it sat with the cap open and water collected halfway up?

  6. Steel gas tanks on bikes rust out quickly when they're left standing with fuel inside. The good news is, there are always modern replacements, although most of them are plastic, and often a little more capacity.

  8. perhaps an old KZ-900. Had a date and got drunk on one long ago... a wonder we made it home.. she was not impressed.
