  1. The leaf, twig and needles in the paw print tells me the tracks aren't fresh. Proceed with caution and a well armed friend.
    Hard to tell but it looks like a .300 or .338 magnum cartridge.

    3. I even looked with a magnifier and couldn't see the belt. Not that it means it doesn't have one.

    2. A few years back, a few friends put together a range day and one of them brought along a new 325 WSM rifle he had just picked up. The recoil seemed to be a bit less than my .30-06, although his new gun also had a better butt pad than my old one.

  5. It's not belted. Nevertheless, consider how many grizzlies have been killed by the ol 30-30? World record killed by .22 long. Size vs PLACEMENT....
    I'm using my 450 Marlin since Mr. Griz is around.
