    1. They used to use tar. But that’s a big structure. When they ran out, there was no mortar.

  4. Was there recently. There is a renowned restaurant nearby that serves suckling pig. The owner goes through this animated speech, then breaks up the suckling using the edge of a plate. When he's done he throws the plate across the room. Restaurante Meson de Candido https://mesondecandido.es/

  5. Future historians are gonna look at the Roman's use of concrete and then they're gonna look at the Brutalist's use of it in the 20th century and they're gonna go "wtf? happened?"
