  1. It's good stuff, C.W. My niece's husband is friends of the family that started the brand. By the way, he's also a certified Pit Master and uses Blues Hog products.

  3. Bill Arnold, the guy who started Blues Hog, showed up on a BBQ Listserv I was on (yes, it's been a while) saying he'd lost his job but had this recipe for a sauce that he might start selling. Began out of his home kitchen. That original recipe became the number one sauce on the BBQ contest circuit. Tennessee Red is a thinned down version of the original. Sadly, Bill died of cancer a few years ago but not before selling the business for what I assume was a fair amount of money. He simply wanted to be able to care for his two daughters.
