And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My bread and butter for over 30 years. I used Husqvarnas more than Stihl, mainly because Husky drilled the crank shaft so you could lude the needle bearings in the clutch housing. Stihl required disassembly. Otherwise, pretty equal.
Love mine, top shelf quality made. Figured when i went got retired, get the best model be the last saw last me till the end, it was around $1200 bucks, a 461 man talk about power. With a fresh chain its pretty close to unstoppable, thru pine its a joke, like going thru balsa wood. Followed the break in spec's, took around 8 hours run time, don't go past 3/4 throttle, they ain't kidding about breaking in the engine, did about 10 hours to be sure. One day its suddenly makes a lot more power, tried full throttle, what a joy to use, right thru a 3ft butt of hard maple like cutting thru white pine. If you use their special mix oil, give you an extended warranty which is very nice, though probably won't need it is so well made. Pass it on to the kids kind of piece of equipment.
Hear you, i coulda gone with one too, the 461 ain't light, but its got so much power just its weight hanging off your hands lets it cut slick as can be. Can't beat it for felling a big butt, no wander, cuts true.

Wanted the 461, went with the 362 to reduce weight on bad wrists. Know a logger, NE hardwood, uses a 362 with a 16" bar and skip chain.
