And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I can attest to that firsthand. Found a ground nest in late August, but not until several of the 'residents' had paid me a visit. If you're interested, I can steer you in the direction of what I imagine would be several thousand of the lifeless pricks.
Sat on one at the city pool once. Sat on one cheek for about a week after that. Had a lot of them at our pool and found out they cannot hold their breath all that long. I help bees out with a bare hand and hold the Yellow Jackets under with the leaf net until they are good yellow jackets.
