And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Sun, Surf and a Lincoln Continental. La Jolla, perhaps?
Yeah, looks like OC. Palos Verdes would've been a second guess. That's evidently Catalina Island on the horizon in the third pic. Can't see that (or any Channel Islands) from SD.
1962 Lincoln slab-sider, low-rider El Presidente. No use for a low-rider, but I do like the improved seats with the integral shoulder harness belts.
