And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

It looks like a late '30s Alfa Romeo in the Goodwood pit lane. Goodwood was an F1 race track between '48 and '66, During the Goodwood Revival cars that raced in those years are on track and everyone dresses in period so this pic could have been taken any time in the past 20 years. Al_in_Ottawa

The Collings Foundation that is located outside of Boston has a bunch of race cars like this in its collection.
