And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Oh, I don't know. I had a little Kelpie-Border Collie who was a world class athlete. She was a great cow dog and probably had a hundred thousand miles of hard running and jumping on her when she retired. She wouldn't have had it any other way, as if you tried to leave her behind she'd attempt to escape by destroying whatever she was in. It didn't take long for her to get me trained and take her along wherever I went. She lived to 17. We both had a lot of fun in those 17 years.
Did the same with one of my female GSPs. She lived a long life but paid the price(unnecessarily?) for being the big air frisbee queen. She was quite the athlete. Klaus

ReplyDeleteHaving paid for a TPLO procedure for a dog, I can say that stuff like this is NOT something a dog should be doing for good leg joint health.
