And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Streamlined class, Bonneville, classes are divided by engine CC's and certain valve trains, air cooled or water. Really fun racing. Still advantages can be gained to take a speed record thru careful interpretation of the rules and creative engine building. And passing the 200 mph barrier. Thats pretty much a class in itself, lot of wind resistance at that speed. Takes lots of hp to do it both ways. You only get a hat and your name in the records book. Wonderful time, great people, stunning natural beauty, and speed, lots of speed, fantastic machines and the incredible work involved.
