And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Alberta! As in "Republic of..." If that happens, how long before Saskatchewan joins up.
As 8 year old boys running free way out in Dalby, Queensland, the local boys and me would climb the steel rungs up the side of the grain silos, go in through the metal door, take our clothes off and dive into the wheat. How we didn't sink and drown is beyond me.
Canada WEST should be cut off at the Sask/Manitoba border. Take the Yukon and NWT, throw the leftists in BC into Washington state and you have yourself a country. Manitoba can join Morontario if they want. I don't care. Morontario and Quebec have always been a drag on the west. The Eastern provinces need to do whatever they want to do, but leave the west alone. We've taken enuf from Ottawa to last more than a lifetime.

Hopefully they are both smart enough to stay out of the US. We need 50 state secession ourselves to restore freedom.
