And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I recently watched a video of a wild hippo being attacked by hyenas on the shore of a river. As many hyenas attempted to bite the hippo, one hyena bit the hippo's tail and hung on, the hippo ran into the river and across it and into a fairly large group of crocodiles. The crocks stripped the hyena off of the hippo's tail and chewed up the poor "dog"... into bloody pieces.
