And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
still have the one I bought back in 1976 in West Germany. kind of worn though. blade is a bit smaller due to sharpening. and the pen is long gone. got in trouble with it by making 45 ACP rounds out of 7.62 NATO blanks and shooting empty C-rat cans in the field . yeah, I got bored easy back then. although TOP was kind of impressed by what I did.
Versatile pocket blades. A little time spent watching on-line videos is instructive on how much these tools can do. Past 4 layers thick, they become bulky in pocket and a belt pouch to carry instead. When not pushed above their limits, they can become heirlooms passed down to kids- grand kids. Recommended.
carried mine in a old Buck 110 pouch. it even fit on the web gear belt. hands down, it was the most used knife I carried in the army. not only was it faster than a P-38 can opener. it was easier to use. still have the old pouch even along with the knife. be nice to get another tooth pick as the one that came with is long gone.

I've got a very old version of the Champ from the early 70s. A bit battered but still very useful.

I have at least two Swiss Army knives. They are still in the boxes that they came from ... unused ... but they look nice.
ReplyDeleteI use my little SD several times a day. Wouldn't be without it.
ReplyDeleteA Classic SD has got to be one of the most popular keychain knives in existence.. Dang handy knife to carry., especially for office environments.
