  2. Twenty minutes ago it was clear sky. Twenty minutes from now it will je clear sky. In the meanwhile it will be horrendous wind and torrential downpour.

  4. During the 17 years we lived in Tucson, I saw several storms forming this way during monsoons. Clear sky at noon, by 1:00 PM the storm front moved in spinning off microburst activity causing 1” of local rain or more, then the sky clearing up. Here in Northern Arizona, we get similar storms, but, IMO, not quite as dramatic. I have no reason to think this is obviously AI, but who knows for certain.

  5. I saw similar displays from the sky while working in Mongolia.
    And the locals called it Flash Flood Time. Loosely translated, of course.

  6. We sure had some Biblical rain here in Southern Missouri last week. Flash floods all over and 300 water rescues. Scary water.
    We have lots of clearwater creeks and streams and they got full fast. 12 inches of rain in 6 hours in some places.
